What we collect

Our public website uses basic analytics to understand which pages are useful. We also use Instantly to identify business visitors. That service may provide a business email address, job title, company information, pages viewed, referring page, visit time, and related device or network information.

How we use it

We use this information to understand interest in Columnline, improve the public site, and follow up with relevant business contacts. Identified visitors are added to a review list before they can enter an outreach campaign.

The Columnline connector for AI apps

You can connect an AI app, such as Claude or ChatGPT, to your Columnline account. You sign in with your own Columnline account and approve the access on our Authorize screen. The AI app never receives your Columnline password, and we store the access tokens it is given only in hashed form.

The app can reach only what your account and role can already open, and we check that again on every request. It can save changes only if you allowed saving when you connected.

For each request we record which account and app made it, which tool it used, when, and whether it succeeded. We keep a one-way fingerprint of the request, not its contents, and we do not store the results sent back to the app.

When the app searches your Knowledge, the search text is sent to OpenAI to find matching passages. When you confirm an action that adds leads to a campaign or a CRM, those details go to the email and CRM services your workspace uses. Information the AI app receives from Columnline is then handled by that app's provider under its own terms.

You can disconnect at any time, in the AI app or under My AI connections in your Columnline settings. Access ends as soon as you do. Setup help is in Connect Columnline to Claude.

How long connection data lasts: the one-time code an AI app exchanges during sign-in expires after five minutes, and each access token expires after 24 hours. The app renews its access until you disconnect, and disconnecting stops it immediately. The request record described above cannot be edited after it is written, and there is currently no scheduled deletion of it.

Your choices

You can turn visitor identification off and continue using the website. Use the Privacy choices control on our public pages to turn optional analytics off. We also honor Global Privacy Control signals sent by your browser. You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you.
